The work week consists of 4 shifts 2 day shifts (9 hours) 9AM - 6-PM 2 night shifts (15 hours) 6PM - 9Am Every Firefighter is given a Group # Which is how you are assigned your workdays and work nights. The firefighters opposite your group # is most likely the person you will mutual with in order to work a 24 hour shift.
